Real horticultural knowledge behind every build, not just a digger and a van
Plants that survive
Planting chosen for your soil, light and exposure — not just what looked good in a catalogue. The right plant in the right place lives for years, not months.
One team, start to finish
The person who designs your garden builds it. No handoffs, no crossed wires between a designer and a contractor who've never met.
Honest advice and clear prices
We tell you what is worth spending on, and the price before work begins. No vague estimates that drift once the digger arrives.

The right job at the right time, for Irish gardens
A few seasonal notes. Two to remember: hedge cutting should avoid the March to August bird nesting season, and bare-root hedging and trees are planted November to March.
Spring
- Cut back last year's growth on perennials before new shoots emerge.
- Feed lawns with a spring lawn feed once soil has warmed.
- Plant new shrubs and perennials while the soil is workable.
- Lift and divide congested perennials to refresh tired borders.
Summer
- Water newly planted specimens deeply, less often, to encourage deep roots.
- Deadhead repeat-flowering perennials and roses to extend the season.
- Keep on top of weeds before they set seed.
- Hedge trim lightly only where needed — full cuts are an autumn job.
Autumn
- Plant bulbs for spring colour before the first hard frost.
- Aerate and top-dress compacted lawns while the soil is still warm.
- Prune hedges now that the bird nesting season has ended.
- Clear fallen leaves; compost the healthy ones for next year.
Winter
- Plant bare-root hedging and trees November to March while dormant.
- Avoid heavy pruning during hard frosts.
- Plan and order structures for the build season ahead.
- Tie in and protect tender plants from wind and cold.
